Terms and Conditions

GENERAL CONDITIONS

All rates are quoted in United States Dollars per room per night/Sri Lankan Rupees per room per night, inclusive of breakfast, service charge, and prevailing government taxes.

Rates are non-commissionable.

Rates cannot be published for sale on any online or offline channel or any third-party site.

Bringing outside food and beverages is strictly prohibited across the Edwards Collection villa portfolio.

Standard Check-in and Check-out Times:

Check-in: From 14:00 (2 PM)
Check-out: Before 11:00 AM
Late check-out and early check-in are subject to additional charges, calculated as 50% of the room night rate on an hourly basis.

No pets are allowed at any of the Edwards Collection villas.

Rates and CURRENCIES

Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR) rates are valid for Sri Lankans and Sri Lankan resident visa holders only.

Necessary documentation must be provided at check-in or after the booking is placed. Proof may be requested via email prior to arrival.

Rates for Sri LANKANS

Sri Lankans are eligible to book the Sri Lankan rate made available through the online booking engine.

If a guest books the Sri Lankan rate and a foreign national is part of the group, the standard foreign rate will be charged for that guest at check-in.

If a foreign national books the Sri Lankan rate, the difference between the Sri Lankan rate and the standard foreign rate must be paid at check-in.

Booking POLICIES

All reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a 50% payment of the total booking value.

Bookings made without payment are subject to automatic cancellation upon receipt of a paid booking.

Full payment is required before check-in, preferably 30 days before arrival.

Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to arrival to avoid a 50% charge on the total booking value.

Cancellations within 14 days of the arrival date will incur a 100% charge on the total booking value.

Promotional rates are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Payments related to bookings and services associated with Edwards Collection must be made to Sampath Bank in Sri Lanka and to the following legal entities only:

CANCELLATION POLICY

Summer Season

50% Refund: Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival are eligible for a 50% refund.

Full Charge: Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur a 100% charge.

Winter Season

50% Charge: Cancellations made 60 days prior to arrival will incur a 50% charge.

100% Charge: Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will incur a 100% charge.

(Note: During winter peak periods (November 1 to April 30), high seasons (August, Kandy Perahera season for The Hermitage, and April for Hill Rise), the above cancellation policy applies.)
